The reason I decided to do a Travel Blog was because I wanted more than just pictures of my travels.  Going travelling is more than just booking a flight and accommodation, and since I am taking an unspecified length sabbatical I wanted to include preparation and most importantly my stated of mind and thoughts whilst travelling, hence a Travel Blog.  This is the first website I’ve ever done and historically I’m kept my personal life very private so this is a step out of my comfort zone…which I thought would be a good way to learn about myself.

I’ve always wanted to explore and love history so what better way to satisfy these passions by travelling and along the way make some changes to my life.

The below links are some of my blog entries covering my preparation, thoughts, gear and destinations. I hope to add my thoughts on Learn, Explore, Expand Your Being in the future.

In addition to Learn Explore Expand Your Being, if you are planning a trip, whether a short visit or an extended stay take a look at some of my other pages too. As my travels progress I will be updating, changing and expanding on many of the categories and pages.

Here’s to happy travelling and Learn Explore Expand Your Being where ever you decide to go!
